PROBLEM 1

I have no water circulating over the freezing plate, What parts do I need?

Technician, Does the ice maker fill the reservoir with water ? after a couple/few minutes ? I wouldn't start by replacing the control board, You should start by making sure you have water to the fill valve, that the valve opens and lets water into the unit and fills the reservoir, and that the recirculating pump start to run constantly approximately 10 minutes after the unit has been started. This is not as simple machine as you'd think, it has several components and controls that make it operate.

PROBLEM 2

My ice machine reservoir making noise sound like it pumping . when i open drain and let it fill up sound goes away . Water is running from the top and i notice the ice is still on top of grid . Just want to say that the power service disconnect the power line and re hook the power line back and my ge refrigerator stop working , i had to replace the main board to get it working and then i noticed the ice machine is also now another problem , could it be that a power surge that also cause the ice machine to stop working . Could it be the ice maker control board is bad causing the pump to make noise and stop making ice .

SOLUTION 2

Based on the information provided it does sound like a possible power surge issue may have caused these issues, you would need to at least check the board or replace it.
